A Message from the First State Freedom Store
Here at the First State Freedom Store, we are more than just a shop with merchandise on the shelves. Yes, we sell shirts, hats, and gifts—but our true mission runs deeper. We exist to support our community, raise funds that make a difference, and provide a gathering place for those who believe in faith, freedom, and country. That’s why this news has hit us especially hard.
On September 10, 2025, America lost one of her strongest voices for truth—Charlie Kirk (1993–2025). His passing, just one day before our nation remembered 9/11, has left a mark on history and a void in our hearts.
Charlie was never afraid to stand boldly for freedom, even when it was unpopular. He spoke with conviction and compassion, often reaching those who least wanted to hear his message. His life was proof that free speech, courage, and faith can change hearts and move mountains.
His assassination was not only an attack on him, but on the values we all share. It was intended to silence him and instill fear. But fear cannot be the answer. Just as Charlie stood firm, we too must carry on his mission with strength and resolve.
Charlie’s legacy extends far beyond one man—it lives on in all of us who choose to defend liberty, pursue truth, and live by faith.
And for us here in Georgetown, this moment is especially personal. The Candlelight & Prayer Vigil will take place this Sunday, September 14th, at Georgetown Circle at 5:30 p.m. Just steps from our store, in the heart of our town, our community will gather to remember Charlie Kirk and the principles he so passionately defended.
We want to make sure everyone knows about this solemn event. Please bring a candle or light as a symbol of hope, faith, and courage. Together, as neighbors and fellow Americans, let us honor Charlie’s life by committing ourselves to the values he lived for: truth, freedom, and faith in God.
This is not just a vigil. It’s a statement. A reminder that light will always drive out darkness, and that no act of hate can silence the voices of Good Ordinary People (GOP) who choose to stand for what is right.
Join us Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Georgetown Circle. Let’s honor Charlie Kirk not only in memory, but in action.
