Just a few months ago, the Sussex County Republican Headquarters at 131 East Market Street in Georgetown was a quiet, aging building in need of serious love. Today? It’s bursting with energy, enthusiasm, and American pride.
Thanks to the hard work of dedicated volunteers — including master carpenters, conservative creatives, and community champions — we’ve transformed this space into a vibrant hub of grassroots activity and patriotic expression.
Welcome to the First State Freedom Store.
Grand Opening – A Day to Remember
On Saturday, June 21, we celebrated the official Grand Reopening of the Sussex County GOP Headquarters and launched the First State Freedom Store — our brand-new retail space featuring bold, faith-filled, unapologetically American apparel and gifts.
From a packed ribbon-cutting ceremony to guided tours, coffee and pastries, live DJ music, and a buzzing print-on-demand t-shirt station, the energy was electric.
Guests browsed patriotic art, bid on silent auction items, and walked out with “Statement Shirts” that speak their truth — like:
“Freedom Over Fear”
“1776 Not 1984”
“God, Guns, and Freedom”
Whether it was flags, cookie cutters, or the unexpectedly hot item — patriotic socks — everyone found something they loved.
